Happy Halloween

We had a great halloween this year and added another "treat" to the Hodges household! Mattox was 2 1/2 weeks old on his first halloween, so he slept through most of it! Thomas had a great time trick or treating with his daddy--he was bumblebee transformer this year. Mattox and I stayed at home and gave out candy to other trick or treaters in our neighborhood. Here are a few pics from the night.

2 weeks old

We went for Mattox's 2 week checkup last Tuesday, October 27 and he is doing great. His weight was up to 5 lbs 13oz and he was 20 inches long. He is eating really good now and I know he has gained even more weight since then. His little cheeks are filling out and he looks bigger everyday to me. I wish I knew what he weighed now! Big brother Thomas is doing great too. He is so sweet with Mattox and he is very proud of his "little brudder." Ted and I are very proud of both of our boys.

Mattox Is Here!!!!!

We welcomed our second little boy, Mattox Joseph Hodges, on October 13, 2009 at 6:34 PM. He weighed 5lbs 60z and was 18 1/2 inches long. He surprised us and came a little early but he is doing fine. He is such a good baby, he hardly ever cries just eats and sleeps. Big brother, Thomas is doing well also. He loves his "little brudder" and hugs and kisses him all the time. He is a big helper for his mommy too. God has blessed us with to beautiful little boys and we are so proud of them.

Pumpkin Patch

Thomas went on a field trip with his preschool class to the pumpkin patch. Ted was able to go with him since he was off work and Thomas was so excited. They went on a hayride, got to see all different kinds of animals, and Thomas even got to pick a pumpkin to bring home. They both had a good time and enjoyed the day.

The Fair

We went to the MS State Fair in October and Thomas had a blast. He wanted to ride everthing and wasn't scared at all. I was the one who was scared for him to ride...I don't trust carnival or fair rides at all. Ted rode a couple of rides with him but he rode most by himself. I couldn't ride anything being pregnant of course. By the way, Mattox was born 2 days after our fair trip!!

Go Dawgs!

Thomas and I went to the MSU vs JSU game in Starkville with my parents. It rained almost the entire game and it was pretty miserable being 8 months pregnant and trying to sit in the tiny space they call a seat! But, the bulldogs did win and we had a good time.

Blue sno-cones....yummy!

Waiting for the rain to pass

On our way to see the bulldogs play
